My Goal is simple: To help you feel your absolute best so you can live your best life possible. To accomplish this, I use acupuncture, herbs, exercise, diet, and meditation to access the deep reservoir of vitality that exists within you.
I am currently the acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner at Canyon Ranch Miami Beach. I also have private practices in South Beach and Bay Harbor, Florida. I frequently travel to Chicago to treat patients there as well.
I specialize in the treatment of stress related disorders such as fatigue, insomnia, headaches, and anxiety, along with a variety of chronic conditions. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs are effective at not only treating illness, but preventing imbalances so you can continue to feel great.
Educated in anthropology at Stanford University and earning my master's degree in Chinese medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), I began my professional career as a Mind/Body consultant with the Scripps Center for Executive Health in La Jolla, CA. I then went on to work at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and Evanston/Northwestern Healthcare Integrative Medicine in Glenview, IL as a Chinese medicine practitioner. Prior to my relocation to Miami, I also served as a professor of acupuncture and a clinical supervisor at PCOM in Chicago. My clinical work has been mentioned in the New York Times, Northshore Magazine, ivillage.com, and I have appeared doing acupuncture on NBC News South Florida.
I love what I do and I am happy to answer questions you may have so you can overcome your illness and restore the health you deserve!
The moment someone believes they are dealing with a 'chronic' condition, they are choosing for their disease to never go away. To heal, we have know that our bodies are capable of much more than conventional thought says is possible. When we are uninhibited by our own believes, the incredible becomes possible.
