We all have desires and dreams, when we think about them we feel excited or inspired, but for some that excitement seems to last for a short while and then it goes to rest again. We tend to dismiss it by saying "Ah what am I thinking, I can't do that" or "There's no time for that" or "I'm too scared of what might happen". By doing this we build a wall around our dreams, a wall of negative self-talk and fear. The wonderful thing is that your desires or dreams never disappear, they stay in your heart, and they’ve been put there by God, what an awesome gift. Most of the time we are concerned about other peoples opinions, we tend to think we have to please them or live up to some kind of expectation, look a certain way or act a certain way. This feeling is normally created by what we see and hear from adverts on TV or what people say about us throughout our lives, we then use this to hold ourselves back. There is a way to overcome all of these things and start living your dream and have your desires fulfilled.

We simply need to turn away from other's opinions, your opinion about yourself is more important, turn away from negative self talk, expectations and fear and turn to God, He created us, He made us who we are by giving us the gifts of happiness (yes happiness is inside you, nowhere else in this world), dreams, desires and life. We need to indulge in prayer, positive thought and self-talk (no you're not crazy if you talk to yourself, you're simply in touch with who you are). A choice has to be made in order to live a wonderful and fulfilling life, are we going to just sit back and expect our wishes to come true or are we going to jump up, gather all that we need and start living the wonderful dream that God has given us? We are never alone on our journey in this life, God walks with us all the way, when we fail, God is simply equipping us for our success that lies ahead. Failure makes us stronger or it can make us weaker if we allow it to. If we never fail will we ever learn what works for us and what doesn't? Failure is just another alternative to doing something that didn’t work. When we honour God all things work out for the best.

As soon as we question ourselves with regards to what we truly want out of life, we start finding answers. These answers start forming a picture, a picture that you can see in your mind. After a while through interactions, experience and visualising the picture starts to move, it becomes alive. The more we visualise it, the richer it becomes. To truly see our dreams manifest themselves we need to make them as real as possible. So we need to start adding feelings, tastes, smells, words, colours, textures and sounds, we do this through our thoughts and imagination. Because we want our dreams and goals to be reflective of whom we really are deep down inside, we want the best ingredients. So add positive, wonderful, aromatic and good tasting ingredients, let all the negative, bland, sour and bad smelling things stay behind in the filter and throw it out, visualise yourself throwing out all the negative, zero value thoughts.

The only way to truly live your dream is to see it, to visualise it the way you want it to be (see it, smell it, feel it as if it were really happening), pray on it and then start taking the necessary action towards making it happen. Choose any time of the day or night when you are alone and relaxed, take five, ten or fifteen minutes, close your eyes (this is not recommended if you are driving or walking, the best time is when you are in bed before you fall asleep) and enjoy the vision that is your dream and then talk to God about it. Believe that you are capable of living it, be positive, tell yourself what an amazing, wonderful and beautiful person you are and go for what you want.

Place God and your whole heart into each area of your life have faith and believe and you will overcome all challenges and succeed.
