Bank provides a large number of job opportunities for the people, and aims to build a strong team of bank personnel to provide better services for its customers. Such two jobs offered by the banks are of the Bank PO and Bank Clerk. These two jobs are high profile jobs and every year thousands of candidates apply for these posts. However, this year, IBPS (the largest recruiter for banks) has introduced a new plan for Bank PO recruitment. Bank recruitment has been undertaken by IBPS which not merely conducts the exams but also the interview sessions. Its strong team of highly trained professionals designs a high standard question paper which would ensure the entry of only the most capable candidates. General knowledge is paid focus on. In order to be recruited in any bank, one has to be aware of general knowledge questions, especially with reference to banking rules and regulations. In 2011, IBPS will be conducting CWE for recruitment of clerical posts.
Common Written Examination (CWE) is like any other exam; however it is a process in selecting a larger mass of candidates for Bank PO, Management Trainee and Bank Clerks. CWE is a common exam for a large strength of people who wants to apply for the post of Bank PO, Management Trainee or Clerk. This exam will be a direct entry to the 19 public sector banks involved with IBPS. The CWE would consist of two sections. First section would consist of objective type questions which would carry 225 marks. You would be given 155 minutes to solve this part of the paper.

SSC recruitment

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a renowned commission which has gained popularity due to its effective work and improvements with every passing year. It has been given the responsibility of conducting exams and interview for recruitment in many government jobs of India. Staff Selection Commission is appointed to recruit individuals for Group B posts in various departments of the government and their attached and subordinate offices. The commission also conducts periodical typewriting tests in English and Hindi. However, no interview session is followed. The Staff Selection Commission has its Headquarter at New Delhi. All Examinations as well as administrative matters are submitted to the Chairman through two Members. All the main decisions are taken in the main office; where an annual report is submitted which includes the yearly recruitments and the pending cases.
